About.

I am a founder, educator and change manager committed to driving economic and social progress in rural Australia. Through my company, Go Remote Pty Ltd, I lead initiatives that create meaningful employment opportunities, support business growth and strengthen regional communities.

With a passion for fostering innovation and connection, I work with senior leaders, SMEs and individuals across rural Australia to build capacity, enhance economic resilience and create pathways to long term prosperity. My work is deeply rooted in impact, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 - Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

Recognised as a national leader in regional economic development, I have been honored with awards including the COSBOA National Small Business Champion and the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award. Through my ventures, I am dedicated to ensuring that rural Australians have the same access to opportunity as their metropolitan counterparts, creating a future where geography is no barrier to success.

Projects.

Pointer Remote.

Founded in 2017 out of a deep frustration with seeing highly skilled professionals in rural areas unable to access meaningful work due to their location, Pointer Remote is a specialised jobs platform that aggregates remote work opportunities and showcases the incredible talent that exists in regional Australia. By connecting businesses with skilled professionals in regional areas, we have facilitated over $25 million in salaries flowing into rural communities—proving that location should never be a barrier to employment. > pointerremote.com

The Connection Table.

Launched in 2022, in collaboration with Julia Spicer, The Connection Table was created from the undeniable need for rural Australians to have a voice where decisions are being made. Too many times, we found ourselves as the only people in the room representing regional perspectives and we knew this needed to change. This network is about ensuring that regional Australians have a platform to influence policy, industry decisions and initiatives that shape their communities, putting rural leaders front and center where they belong. >theconnectiontable.com

The Trailing Spouse Co.

Established in 2022, this network was born from my own experience and the shared challenges of countless individuals who relocate due to their partner’s career commitments. Too often, these highly capable professionals are overlooked, leaving them feeling disconnected from their careers and networks. The Trailing Spouse Co provides a space to reconnect, upskill and find meaningful opportunities through virtual and in person events, training and workshops—ensuring that no one has to sacrifice their professional identity due to a relocation. > thetrailingspouse.co

Initiatives.

Decent Job Boards.

This project stems from my unwavering commitment to breaking down employment barriers in regional Australia. By white labelling Pointer Remote’s technology, we enable organisations to customise job boards that serve niche sectors, such as agriculture and regional development. This initiative is about removing roadblocks to employment and ensuring that businesses can tap into incredible regional talent.

Invest Rural.

Inspired by the need to support brilliant rural businesses in accessing the funding required to scale, Invest Rural is a project aimed at bridging the investment gap for regional entrepreneurs. Co-founders Claire Bull and Dave Lillo-Trynes bring a wealth of experience and networks to this initiative, delivering workshops, investor events and strategic guidance to connect rural businesses with venture capital, debt finance, angel investors and family office funding. We are ensuring that regional businesses are not just sustainable but thriving, growing and creating long term economic impact.
